“Here we have a spine model. You can see the vertebrae bodies of the spine. These are the discs. These are the root nerves emerging from the spine. And you can see these discs are normal. You can see that the contours of the disc are totally normal. This is a herniated disc. You can see here there is a protrusion of the nucleus pulposus of the disc. This is a central herniation. And this is a lateral herniation.

“It produces symptoms only in the side of the herniated disc. When we treat the herniated disc we go inside a little in the disc and apply ozone inside of it. Then we also apply PRP inside of it at the same time as we apply ozone. We are having better results using the PRP in combination with the ozone. ”
